Welcome to Pali Uli Gardens, a gorgeous place where you can learn about sustainability, rejuvenate yourself, and eat certified organic food freshly harvested from the property itself. The Cliff House and the Waterfall House are your beautiful, very private student accommodations!

Luxuriate in the beauty of Pali Uli Gardens. No other site on the island of Maui commands such a magnificent vista. Pali Uli is an indescribable enchantment of lush tropical gardens, rich with produce, placid lotus ponds, gorgeous waterfalls, and beautifully appointed rooms to stay in.

The Cliff House is situated seventeen feet from the cliff edge within its’ own private compound. An elegant glass, teakwood and marble structure with vaulted columns, it opens to a series of cliff-edge decks and an in-ground hot tub looking out across a one hundred and fifty foot waterfall to the sea on the ocean-side and an intimate, private garden compound with emerald-tiled pool, outdoor bath, detached asian-style bedroom and poolside dining and barbeque area on the leeward side. The interior and exterior of The Cliff House is an enjoyable and memorable part of your experience here at Pali Uli Gardens. At the center of the Cliff House is a huge built in sofa beneath a sky-lighted teakwood ceiling in front of a ten foot wide marble fireplace. The floors of the Cliff House are entirely of Javanese marble. A built-in entertainment center with one hundred channel satellite television complete with all movie channels, DVD player and compact disc player completes the living area. High speed wireless internet access is available throughout the compound. Both the bathroom and kitchen are outfitted completely in teakwood and marble. The detached, Asian-styled bedroom overlooks the pool in a shady corner of the patio compound a few feet from the main residence. Between the main residence and the detached bedroom is an outdoor dining nook outfitted with a barbeque and an umbrella covered dining set upon a large marble mandala. The entire patio compound is laid in lava slate gathered from the slopes of Gunung Agung volcano in Bali.

In addition to the marbled bath within the Cliff House, an exotic outdoor bath and garden shower is tucked away across the pool in a private garden of red ginger, Japanese irises and tropical bromeliads.

The shower is a ten foot tall Balinese stone maiden with water pouring from an urn in her arms. An in-ground hot tub perched three feet from the cliff’s edge overlooking the Hana coastline completes the Cliff House amenities. In fact, all of the buildings of Pali Uli are exqusitely decorated with art, furnishings and statuary brought in from Bali, Java and Thailand. As you drive in to the Cliff House, you will see to the right a beautiful field full of delicious organic vegetables and fruit to eat. Among them are bananas, coconuts, papayas, chard, beets, carrots, taro and lettuce. That is one of our special gardens where you will be having a chance to learn about sustainability and organic farming. In Hanehoi Gorge below, a cascading jungle stream plummets over a one hundred and fifty foot waterfall into a lush gorge and rushes a few hundred yards to the open sea.
