For the past four years, Sherrie has owned a certified organic farm where she grows bananas, coconuts, citrus and many different kinds of vegetables. A mother, she has taught her four children to garden and enjoys watching them discover the magic of gardening as she had. "It is a joy to grow the best fruits and vegetables and watch the children harvest what you grow because it’s an inspiration for them and they get good nutritious food and there is a real gratification that you receive when you’re able to do this". Sherrie currently distributes her organic products to the farmers market, health food stores and friends in the community. "I encourage everyone to take a little time to grow a garden and watch the magic that happens from getting your hands in the soil and enjoy the fruits of your labor". |
